Recent Works

The creation of art that tells a story is central to Ian’s ethos. Scratching the Surface is a continuation of a previous series, Scratching the Itch, which explores the themes of farmland and agriculture through an abstract lens.

Ian’s work invites you to explore rural-inspired landscapes from a new perspective. Deepening his experimentation with colour and surface, Ian’s recent works use bitumen, giving a truly unique quality to the surface of the canvas.
